About
ShrimpSMP is a small survival server with a reef theme. It is quiet on purpose. You build, you explore, you take your time.
Money is shells. You earn them and spend them in the shop. Nothing you can buy gives you power. Staff run it and we are around on Discord.
How to join
- Open Minecraft Java Edition. Use version 26.1.2.
- Go to Multiplayer, then Add Server.
- Paste play.shrimpsmp.com as the address. No port needed.

FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. Joining costs nothing, there is no whitelist, and nothing you can buy gives you power. At most, looks are for sale.
Which version do I need?
Minecraft Java Edition 26.1.2. The server runs Paper 26.1.2.
Can I play on Bedrock?
Not yet. It is coming soon, and we will say so on Discord when it is ready. For now it is Java only.
How do claims work?
Grab a golden shovel, then click two corners to claim the ground between them. You start with 100 claim blocks. Your stuff stays yours, and staff can roll back damage if something goes wrong.
How do I get shells?
Shells are the money here. Sell things with /shop and vote for the server (a vote pays out in game). Spend them in the same shop.
Can my friends join from the same house?
Up to 3 players can share one IP address.
